Hello! Just a quickie today.
I have had so much lovely and needed support re The Great Interior Design Challenge that I decided to purchase two of the wonderful books and give one away.
The book is ace, better than I ever expected and of course, my room is in there looking better than I remember.
The book has loads of Interior Design tips for every room in the house and really handy DIY tips including up-cycling projects featured in the show.
The photography is top banana and all the rooms from the heats are featured.
I have just spent a happy afternoon perusing its pages and I know you will love it too.
.
The rules.
Follow me here and leave a quick comment, maybe tell me which room you are planning on designing next?
Alternatively, follow me on IG (Oooh Betty) and leave me a note or even pop over to my Facebook page and give me a like.
I will announce the winner in a weeks time which will be whatever this day is next week. I think it is a Tuesday?
Good luck! X

DeleteHi, just to say that i went back and watched on iplayer. You were very brave to enter in the first place! I enjoyed it and there was a great compliment at the end about you being a stylist! ....it's set me thinking about how I decorate, whether i do in fact have a certain style, or whether it's just a mixture! I've been thinking about my kitchen next and trying to have an overall vision rather than just making it up as I go! would love to enter your give-away, Heather x
ReplyDeleteI'm planning a move to a more permanent home soon so we will have LOTS of rooms to get to grips with! Exciting, as we've never really stayed anywhere long enough so far to do much. I probably have too many mish-mash ideas I've accumulated though!
ReplyDeleteClaire.
In the process of redecorating my lounge and am definitely looking for ideas, this would be great. I loved your design and thank you for the giveaway. Following through bloglovin' :-)
ReplyDeleteI'm days away from putting the house on the market and the new house is all getting re-designed... Starting from the living room and the bedroom, all mid-century modern and Scandinavian. Just thinking about it is getting me insanely excited! X
ReplyDeleteMy next MUST do room is the bathroom (must be rid of that horrible 1970s suite complete with 3D sunflower tiles), but I WANT to do the bedroom.
ReplyDeleteI haven't had a chance to watch your episode yet, but I've heard good things from mutual friends on instagram. ;)
I'd love a chance to win please... alway on the look out for ideas... Smiles Cx
ReplyDeleteHi Emma, well done on the show, you transformed Ricardo's livingroom! To see your client so happy must have been a wonderful feeling. Next up on our ever growing "to do" list is the mammoth task of the hall , stairs and landing in our 3 storey Victorian terrace, including putting back in the lovely cast iron radiators ...wish me luck :)
ReplyDeleteI'm planning a major magnolia offensive in order to sell and downsize so I need to know how to do a room in 3 days! Thanks... Eco Ethel xx
ReplyDeleteHi Emma
ReplyDeleteI've just watched your room design on bbc iplayer, you are a natural on tv and I can't believe you put that ladder on the wall I'm waiting for hubby to mine up. He found it in a skip on a job he was working on. I hope you get lots of work from your debut tv appearance.

ReplyDeleteEmma -What a fantastic achievement on the TV programme - you should have won - I think you should definitely add Interior Design to your other fabulous skills. I'm planning on a revamp of my lounge/dining room soon and need a bit of inspiration!

I am so glad i found you again after reading your blog a while back and loved it. After seeing your lovely canvan on show i realised it was you. You did so well and thought your room was the best. I am planning on decorating one of my teenage boy bedrooms next. Just dont know where to start!!
ReplyDeleteI do like the way you have presented this situation and it really does provide us a lot of fodder for consideration. On the other hand, through what precisely I have witnessed, I basically wish as the actual comments pack on that individuals continue to be on issue and in no way embark upon a soap box of some other news du jour.

ReplyDeleteLoving the show, some great ideas and making me want to convert the loft so I can decorate a new room! Failing that I'm gonna have to repaint the hall, stairs and landing, which I guess doesn't even count as a room. But I'd still love to win the book......!!
